It was Elliot who suggested this, though he's taken it more as an order. Thankfully, he knows how to apologize. He's done it many times before, and to people far more terrifying than some guy who tried to help him.

I wanted to apologize for my behaviour a few days ago. My outburst was childish and unwarranted. I'm sorry, it won't happen again.
[Rean's genuinely not expecting a message from Hunter, and he's expecting an apology even less. He's too stunned for a bit to answer right away, but when he does, he's... well, he knows he can naturally be a bit on the loud side so he's trying to keep himself a little restrained, at least, but aside from that his reaction is a lot less practiced.

Hey... it's okay, you know? I don't blame you for what happened, you were really upset and I clearly crossed a boundary with you that I shouldn't have.
If anything, I should be the one apologizing to you.
[Hunter isn't sure what to expect with this apology. If he were back in the Boiling Isles he'd have a good idea, but the human realm and humans in general are bafflingly unpredictable. He just hopes it goes over okay.]
