It was Elliot who suggested this, though he's taken it more as an order. Thankfully, he knows how to apologize. He's done it many times before, and to people far more terrifying than some guy who tried to help him.

His voice is level in his message, almost practiced, though he definitely didn't practice reciting this specific apology.]

I wanted to apologize for my behaviour a few days ago. My outburst was childish and unwarranted. I'm sorry, it won't happen again.

[Rean's genuinely not expecting a message from Hunter, and he's expecting an apology even less. He's too stunned for a bit to answer right away, but when he does, he's... well, he knows he can naturally be a bit on the loud side so he's trying to keep himself a little restrained, at least, but aside from that his reaction is a lot less practiced.

[Rean has had a day, so when he responds, he sounds pretty... well, dead. But at least he is responding!]

[Jun wasn't good at words. He had no idea what to say to the people who were reviving. Each time he tried to send a message to Rean or one of the others, he gets tongue tied or he deletes it before sending. Expressing emotions was...difficult.

So finally he settles on a different option. Rean will find a package on the bed of his dorm. Inside there'll be a collection of Magical Alisa doujin (as well as some other animes he knows Rean likes) and some cookies that were carefully decorated to have cute anime mascots on them. There's also a first aid kit -- mostly tailored for stab wounds (just in case!). Finally there's a card that say "welcome back!", and there's a doodle of mona the mascot as well.

Well, there might not be a name anywhere on this package, but given that it 1) just randomly appeared on his bed and none of his locks are broken and 2) is tailored to a very specific interest, Rean has a good inkling of who might have sent it.

...Well, there wasn't a name left on it, so it's reasonable to assume that the mystery gifter didn't want the attention. Rean will just keep his guesses to himself, for now.

I am sorry about everything, for what it's worth. I just... panicked, and didn't see another option, I guess. Figured it was me or someone else, and didn't stop to think about who all would be hurt if I decided to make it me.

You're right: everyone else has made it very clear who all I hurt, so I think it's safe to say I've learned my lesson, here.

[It was a long day with a lot of unexpected twists, most of them Elliot's doing. He hadn't expected to ever be handling a cello of that high quality and expense, and you better believe he treated it like royalty with all the cleaning and care he took into every step of the process

In fact it's pretty late in the evening, about an hour after they got back from picking up the cello from Jusis, that Elliot comes up from the basement where he has stored the cello and flops on the couch]
